Plant Spirit Healing & The Wheels of Time

To walk with the plants is to step into an ancient rhythm that hums beneath all of life. Each flower, tree, and herb carries not only its own spirit but also a memory of time’s great cycles—sun, moon, and season—woven into its being. When we learn to listen, plants become teachers of timing, reminding us that growth, rest, blooming, and release are not random events but sacred patterns. This is where my work with flower essences begins: in conversation with the spirits of the plants themselves, who reveal that healing and alignment come most naturally when we root ourselves back into the turning of the Wheels of Time.

This is The Spiral Path. It's a constant observance of the cycles of nature–from astrology, to the moon cycles, to the seasons, to the personal biological rhythms–with respect, reverence, and honor. It's an invitation to surrender to the way life flows–in a reliable pattern–that can become an anchor when the many other variables shifting around us feel like too much. It's an understanding that when we set down our resistance to this movement, or rather direct our energy to support ourselves through it, we are carried forward with more swiftness in the direction of where we'd like to go.

I call these cycles the Wheels of Time, and I use them as pathways for offering you supportive medicine that will help balance, uplift, and orient your momentum towards your highest potential.

In this moment, The Spiral Path is set to offer flower essences for 3 specific Wheels of Time: the movement of the sun's position in the nightsky, the earth's movement through the seasons, and the moon's movement through her cycles. What I've realized as I've been creating this work is that a massive part of the gift The Spiral Path has to offer you is to remind you that exactly where you are is right on time.

STARDUST – ZODIACAL WHEEL

The Zodiacal or Astrological Wheel begins each year when the Sun enters 0° Aries at the Spring Equinox. It unfolds to tell a story about the hero's journey, moving through all twelve zodiac signs, each carrying its own archetype and lesson from the four Elements of nature.

  • Fire – creation, initiation, and transformation
  • Earth – stability, development, and prosperity
  • Air – ideas, communication, and collaboration
  • Water – deep feeling, healing, and intuition

This wheel maps the cosmic rhythms of growth, transformation, and renewal, giving language to the ways collective and personal energies shift month by month.

  • Aries brings initiation and fire.
  • Taurus roots us in stability and the senses.
  • Gemini scatters seeds of curiosity and communication.
  • Cancer pulls us inward to nurture and protect.
  • Leo blazes with creativity and heart.
  • Virgo refines, heals, and orders.
  • Libra restores balance through relationship.
  • Scorpio dives into transformation and mystery.
  • Sagittarius expands with wisdom and vision.
  • Capricorn builds, structures, and endures.
  • Aquarius innovates, liberates, and connects the collective.
  • Pisces dissolves into dream, spirit, and completion.

This wheel shows us the archetypal energies that flavor each month, guiding not only the collective atmosphere but also the more personal ways we experience growth, change, and renewal. It is the cosmic clock, reflecting the movements of the heavens back to us.

Our Stardust flower essence offering intentionally cultivates balance to how the current Astrological season might be affecting us on a personal level. We do this by channelling a blend that will uplift the helpful qualities (light) and balance the more challenging ones (shadow). This not only helps us move through any resistance we might have during a specific time of the year, but also to create space to understand each of the Zodiac signs on a energetically embodied level.

SUNDIAL – WHEEL OF THE YEAR

Where astrology maps the stars, the Wheel of the Year roots us firmly on Earth. This is the ancient calendar that honors the shifting dance of the Sun and the seasons. It ties human life to the fertile, breathing body of the Earth itself by dividing the year into eight sacred festivals that mark the cycles of light and dark, birth and decay, planting and harvest.

  • Winter Solstice (Yule): the rebirth of the Sun at the darkest point of the year.
  • Imbolc: the first stirrings of light and life in early February.
  • Spring Equinox (Ostara): balance, fertility, the renewal of life.
  • Beltane: fire, fertility, and the celebration of abundance in May.
  • Summer Solstice (Litha): the longest day, the peak of light and growth.
  • Lammas: the first harvest in August.
  • Autumn Equinox (Mabon): balance again, the gathering of fruits and grains.
  • Samhain: the final harvest, the veil between worlds thins as winter begins.

The Wheel of the Year teaches us to align our inner work with the outer landscape: offering us a more graceful acceptance of the deep truth that there are times to plant new seeds, times to celebrate, times to harvest, and times to let go.

Our Sundial flower essence offering provides a gentle way to unfold more fully into the gifts each season of life has to offer. This is especially powerful to work with if you're ready to reclaim your relationship with the earth, be affirmed how right on time you are, and ease any challenges you experience being in or transitioning to specific seasons.

MOONFLOW – LUNAR WHEEL
Coming Soon

Finally, there is the most intimate wheel of all—the cycle of the Moon. Every 29.5 days, she moves from new to full and back again, pulling on the tides of oceans and bodies alike. Over the course of a year, we experience 12–13 full moons, each with names rooted in seasonal observation:

  • Wolf Moon (January)
  • Snow Moon (February)
  • Worm Moon (March)
  • Pink Moon (April)
  • Flower Moon (May)
  • Strawberry Moon (June)
  • Buck Moon (July)
  • Sturgeon Moon (August)
  • Harvest Moon (September)
  • Hunter’s Moon (October)
  • Beaver Moon (November)
  • Cold Moon (December)

The lunar wheel speaks to our emotional and spiritual tides—the quiet invitation of the new moon to plant intentions, the illumination of the full moon that brings clarity, the waning moon’s call to release. Paired with astrology, each full moon highlights the opposite sign of the Sun, offering balance and reflection.

Our Moonflow flower essence offering (coming soon) will weave a story along a red thread, meant to awaken ancient memory and connect us to the keepers of these cycles: priestesses. Moonflow will be released in alignment with each full moon to help activate thirteen archetypal energies encountered on the spiral path of the priestess.

Each wheel offers a different lens, yet they work together beautifully. The Astrological Wheel orients us to the cosmic archetypes that we all carry. The Wheel of the Year grounds us in the seasonal rhythm of Earth. And the Lunar Wheel tunes us to our personal and emotional cycles as women.

Together, they create a trinity of time: cosmic, solar, and lunar. Following these wheels is about expanding beyond the rigidity and disconnection of our current society and embracing living in rhythm and harmony with our changing tides. When we walk with these wheels, we remember that time isn’t linear, but rather a sacred spiral we can dance along.
